Founded
We were established in 2007 by co-founders Don Gordon and Tim Quinn.
Don Gordon serves as the firm's Chief Operating Officer, overseeing Pylon's business operations, strategy, and account management. With over 30 years of business experience, he previously led a successful telecom and technology consulting firm specializing in network design and cost optimization for enterprises. Don's background includes roles at MFS Communications, later acquired by WorldCom and Verizon Business. Today, he focuses on streamlining Pylon's internal operations and ensuring clients have efficient, cost-effective technology solutions aligned with their business needs.
Tim Quinn serves as the firm's Chief Technology Officer, responsible for the overall health of clients' technology infrastructure and processes. In addition to his role as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies such as the SEC, Tim's primary responsibilities include the management of the 24/7 Help Desk, Security Operations Center, and all technology management and monitoring. Tim holds certifications as a CCIE and MCSE and brings over 30 years of business experience to the team. His comprehensive role ensures clients receive robust technology support and security.
